I am working hard to organize next Italian BarCamp. It will be during the Italia Wave Love Festival. It is the first time we have a BarCamp all week end logn and in the middle of an event with 200.000 spectators.
In 2007 the largest festival on the italian music scene moves places: Arezzo Wave goes to florence and becomes Italia Wave.
The Tuscan capital will host the innovations of a project which involves and represents all aspects of youth culture within the following thematic areas:
- music with a national leadership in the field and an excellent international image
- digital cultures with ElettroWave which is one of the 3 greatest events of this kind in italy
- cultures with projects organized beneath the CultWave header dealing with theatre, literature, cinema, poetry, comics, arts
- communication with new projects among which are a media center renewed by Wave Tech Labs
- urban new thematic area for sports and street culture
- society promoting the efforts of social associations and workers: social wave
I hope to stay alive by the end of the week ;)

Lot of people think is is only a promotional operation to have coverage from media but, to me, SL will be an important side of the web future, so this kind of experiments are welcome.
